Jessica Simpson and Jake Gyllenhaal apparently have crushes on each other. Jessica visited Jake at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills on June 20, where he was staying after some friends hooked them up. Following a nice get-together, they texted back and forth for three hours while Jess hung out at Chateau Marmont. Jess has recently been in the spotlight after a split from John Mayer, her first longterm relationship since her divorce last year. Jake's getting over a breakup too, he just cut things off with Reese Witherspoon three weeks ago after deciding he couldn't deal with the pressures of her complicated ties with her baby's daddy, Ryan Phillipe. So maybe Jess and Jake can help each other mend their broken hearts.
