Dick Cheney originally pushed for the law in 2005, and since then, many a-listers have sought hot property in the beachside town. Privacy, famous neighbors with like-minded interests, and few paparazzi all ad to the allure of the place. Maryland is one of those states which is still debated as to whether or not it holds 'Southern' status; but stars claim that the place is well worth the investment on it's southern charm alone. But let's be real, do you really want to live next door to MJ and Cheney in a no-fly zone? We think not, which is why smart investors head for the city, like Brad Pitt and Sarah Jessica Parker, who each have townhomes in the up and coming New Orleans.
